In late 1993 the line up was completed with the addition of two brothers, bassist Vince Cirillo and drummer James Cirillo. The band's number one goal was to reach the lost for Christ with hard rock music that contained evangelical lyrics. The band rehearsed tirelessly, and performed in the greater Kansas City area. 120 dBS saw people of all ages come to know Jesus Christ as their Savior at every show, ranging from coffee houses to outdoor shows in a secular setting. Lead singer Eddie Williams would pull no punches as he proclaimed the gospel in between songs and at the end of the show. Although 120 dBS were never signed to a major label, they delivered a major league message regardless who was around. 120 dBS is not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, for it is the power of God for salvation.http://www.freewebs.com/120dbs/ I dug this band and I found a little familliar their Debut to the following bands(CROSSFIRE)-N-(APOSTLE)(as for me they have had a great debut, the great debut were similary to crossfire'n'Apostle bands, even though they had their own style, the track-(til I met you)from their debut remind me the 70s on the hippies era,not bad debut at all,so far, fans of CROSSFIRE AND APOSTLE will love this band, this Debut, won't let you be desapointed ,about their second released,THE GLAMBLER-have a little resemblance to their Debut but stronger and more mature with more screamingvoices, you can occasionally hear Guitar Solos that will impress you,as well on their Debut,(the thirds albums is the best-wow guys, here is where they were really wanted to be,ORIGINAL,A MATURE BAND,THEIR OWN STYLE,Crossfire'n'Apostle Traces Were Meltdown from them, and with the TRACK-GO TO HELL,they were really rocking as a masterpeace metal band, with Great solos, great Screaming voices,THE volcalist he was really on the way to be on the HILL with any metal bands, leading the awesome underground band that let me chilled ,wanting more, how could it be they were out of the eyes of the METALEROS,oh !!HOMBRES!! a shame, these bands are undergroung as many others,I could imagine this band where they should have been if they were sighed on PURE METAL,ENIGMA,ROYAL,OR at least Regency records, with a higher level on this last DEMO,adding the first album, their Debut,a diferent History I would have been telling,WELL my last word after all are on this, simply great band, great metal, thanks guys for this last Effort that will finally pulled you up,and let us the see more of you in all your work,as well I would say that I admired the passion for the lord, and the great christian lyrics, there's no Doubts Where They Wanted to be and where you were standing for,MY FOVOOOOOOOOOOOO-TRACK-GO-TO HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL.This is a strong band with strong Christian lyrics. They remind me of Apostle, but they do have their own unique style for sure. The Light is their best work, and I wish they would have put out another album after that! Anyway, if you like 80's metal along the lines of the Metal Mardi Gras lineup of 87, you will certainly dig their work(http://www.holymetalrob.com/)

The music is hard, the message is simple. REX Records found something that they have never heard before and signed an incredible band. Sad to say this was their only release, would have loved to owned another. Enlisted the help with Doug Mann (REX Records) and Dale Thompson (Bride) this band mixed Metal, Thrash, Industrial all into one. The lyrics are solid in social statements (" Thou shalt not kill" ), "Gasoline" And, "Gun Control" )the music is in your face. This was the album that everyone should own back in 93, now in 2007, this is the album that everyone should own. You won't be disappointed if you buy this CD, it is a must have. It holds up to what alot of bands are doing today, it was too new and questionable back then. This is what the NU METAL was before it got the name in 2001.It is slow, old school, bluesy thrash. My favorites are " Father " And "Sin City "(An Awesome Acoustical Jam that makes me think of Tenacious D). The subject matter mainly deals with Xex And Violence from a Christian perspective. Dave Thompson, from Bride, shows up and does some Vocal And Lyrical Work. An excellent CD,They Started All Under The Name " WHITE RAY" But For One Reason Or Two This Band Later Changed Their Name to Killed by Cain, and have their one and only CD release under that name listed here. I personally think all of their pre-Killed By Cain Stuff Was Greatest.Great, Gritty, Heavy Rocking Stuff. With distinctive Vocals and killer music this obscure album is a fine addition to any collection. Listen for Dale Thompson's signature screams in "Sin City", he also did the "Introduction to Hyprocrisy" This album is very solid with good lyrics. Unfortunately this is there only album. Very sad. Very fun album. The Bassist, Steve Curtsinger, Went on to play on at least Two Bride albums. "Drop" And "The Jesus Experience". .This is a classic album! Dale Thompson from Bride also produced this album. Not only did Steve Curtsinger go on to play in Bride, but Stephan Roland also played in Bride for awhile, so this cd, IMHO, has some Bride influence in their sound.Well I Do Have This Album But I'Am Still Lokkinf For The Demos So Any Help Would Be Appreaciatable,IF You Can Provide Any OF Those On Any Format even Just De Music On Mp3 Or Cdr Will ok(http://www.holymetalrob.com/)

Wow. We classic rock fans have waited for a long time for an album like this to come out. Sure, we love the idea of Stryper, Whitecross, Bloodgood and other 80's metal bands reforming, but to see that music has FINALLY come full circle after such a long wait sends chills down my spine. Thankfully this is not another hardcore band trying to pull of the Southern Rock/Metal sound. These guys are genuine and what makes this album so great is Theive and Liars have transcended age and gender all in one recording. I you love Led Zepplin, Pink Floyd, AC/DC, REZ and other classic rock bands, I can promise you that you'll be shouting "Rock and roll is not Dead and neither is bold in your face lyrics". These statements resonates on every track of "When Dreams Become Reality". Many of the songs on the album stretch into 7 minutes long. They'll saturate your senses and take you on an epic journey of dreams and betrayal, loss and hope taking you on a journey musically and spiritually. If your not truely moved by the last song on the disc, just listen to it over and over and you'll find yourself forgetting about your problems and realizing that everything we have here on this earth is temporary. This San Diego-based power trio have spent the last several years constructing a Zeppelin-meets-Floyd record that came through a painstaking transfer process. Using recording techniques from the late 60's and early 70's, the band tracked most of the record live, giving the songs a very natural and warm sound. Kyle Rosa's thundering yet graceful drumming provided the necessary foundation for bassist Joey Bradford, whose playing solidifies the rhythm section with tasteful lines of expression. The aggressive and soulful guitar of Corey Edelmann completes the massive sound of this three-piece. Bradford's energetic and passionate vocals flow seamlessly between songs, showcasing his ability to sound natural whether screaming on "Betrayed by Blood" or pouring his heart out on "Alone". The attention to detail and thought put into every song is evident in the production, which included organ, a boys choir, and strings. The violinist's Stradivarius will move you on the ballad "Forgotten", while the harmonizing boys' chorus will haunt you on "The Author of Dreams". This 71 minute masterpiece is sure to instill hope in today's rock and roll scene; there is a revival coming, and the preachers are Thieves & Liars. This statement resonates on every track of "When Dreams Become Reality", the debut album from Thieves & Liars. The San Diego-based power trio have spent the last several years constructing a concept record(http://www.holymetalrob.com/)

Some feel a burning desire to bend trends and push stylistic envelopes with esoteric art and deconstructionist ideals. Some bands wouldn't be caught dead, with the word deconstructionist hanging from their lips. They just want to rock, and hard. The classic rock band FOG is as esoteric as a runaway freight train full of wild boars barreling down a mountainside at high noon. Their guitars scream with the passion of a thousand murderous band saws and their amps crackle and smoke with the rage of ten thousand mother lions. From their mouths fly swords, fire and mercy. They are on a mission - and yes, it is a mission from God. FOG, a name originally chosen as an acronym for "Four Old Guys," is an old-school hard rock and heavy metal band as bent on sharing their passion for Jesus Christ as they are on reviving good old-fashioned musical mayhem. Whether juicing up a worship song like a hot-rod in August, tweaking a classic tune, redefining it's meaning and commandeering it's verve towards their own ends, or unveiling an original song that sounds as if it blasted straight out of a time-machine set to 1974, FOG is unapologetic in both their commitment to vintage rock and in their enthusiastic performance of it.Front-man and lead vocalist David Miller was rocking pubs as the drummer for various cover bands at the spry age of fourteen. Artists like Alice Cooper, Led Zeppelin, Queen and Van Halen were his musical inspirations. Over twenty years later he merged his passion for gut-crunching rock and roll with his newly invigorated faith in Christ and caught a vision. Miller got together with several friends and church-mates to form what was at first a novelty act, but would soon become a very active ensemble. Warren Poi (guitars,) Jim Groleske (drums) and Rick Shaeffer (bass) joined with Miller and a few other friends to romp through some cover tunes and amped up worship songs. Though the group started as a bit of a joke, they soon found themselves with performance offers from places as diverse as bible studies and biker bars. Turned out as the whole world turned "alternative" around them, a lot of folks just wanted to pump their fist in the air and let their hair down. The five friends all met at The Warehouse Church where they spent years together in fellowship before realizing they shared a love of old-style hard rock, and a common desire to preach the Gospel wherever they could. They found themselves invited to youth groups, outdoor jams and even some of the roughest biker bars in Illinois and Wisconsin. From intimate crowds in church basements to pounding masses in the thousands at outdoor festivals, they followed every invitation and boldly blasted their hearts out. What they lacked in polish they more than made up for in conviction. With their heart stitched plainly on their sleeve, and their amps up to eleven, FOG took shape.Though willing to go wherever doors open and ears hear, FOG makes no apology for the reason they play. For them it's all about sharing their hearts and having a great time. For these Aurora rock-heads the only thing more satisfying than a blaring power-chord is the knowledge that they are offering a message of real hope in a hurting world. The fact that they get to spread the Word at 110 decibels is just icing on the cake.Contact Info: F.O.G. 308 E. Galena BlvdAurora,http://www.fog-rocks.com/.(http://www.holymetalrob.com/)

This is Robert's new home, and boy has he turned it up a notch. Blissed play hard driving rock while at the same time delivering some killer melodies and choruses.Blissed is a hard rock band formed in 2002/2003 by David Pearson. Among the original member line up was Robert Sweet of Stryper and current Guitarist Jeff Miller. The band released their Debut EP Called IIII and followed immediately by the first full length release called Waking Up The Dead (KR RECORDS 2002). This CD went to retail through Central South Distribution, Bayside and Select O Hits. The CD was well received as were the songs from Waking UP The Dead on Radio. Partnering with Pure Tracking, Concrete Marketing and Skateboard, BLISSED received airplay throughout North America and Europe. They broke the top 50 on the CMJ charts, received airplay on FMBQ and found themselves in many 'top 1 In the CCM market as well, on some staying in the top ten for up to 16 weeks.the second album released by California's Blissed, the band who played the UK's Christmas Rock Night fest in 2003 when Stryper's Robert Sweet was a short term member. Blissed continued on and herewith deliver a bombastic set of love metal that combines a positive message with metal and melody. This is an album that is seeping with edgy attitude and it gives an immediate impression. From start to finish you can't help but be caught up in the dramatic vocals of David Pearson's metal ballads. Opening with the mighty "Superhero", a track bursting with power vocals and commanding guitar riffs, it leads the way into an album that consists predominantly of heavy, heart pounding tracks. Though each track has high energy and fine lyrics after a while it all begins to feel somewhat familiar and a little more variety would have been welcome. Thank goodness for "Bittersweet" the beautifully haunting lyrics and use of an acoustic guitar shows the hint of a softer side to the band. Despite the lack of variation this is a well-crafted album with some absorbing moments.During the first weeks of the Waking Up The Dead Tour Blissed Toured from California to Michigan, through the Mid West and to Texas. With each venture building a stronger fan base all leading to the opportunity to tour Europe. The European Tour had the purpose of introducing the band to a new audience with explosive shows and also to avail the band to press. The live shows were explosive! The first set, performed in Holland, saw a crowd of more than 4000. The promoter of the event was so impressed that they had the band do a second set in the Netherlands the very next day. This concert saw the band headline a group of five bands and many in attendance were new loyal Blissed fans. Blissed then travelled through Belgium and France and into the UK for yet more dates in England and north into Scotland. After two more shows in Glasgow and Edinburgh respectively the band finished up the tour in London at the infamous Garage, the same club that had just hosted POD and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. During the busy schedule of live sets the band sat down with many eager press representatives for interviews and introductions. Powerplay, CCM, Hebbez, Rock Tribune and Metal Hammer are a few in print as well as many radio stations throughout Europe. www.blissedrocks.com
Finding themselves home again in North America lead the band to the only logical next step, intensive touring. On the last leg of touring BLISSED performed in the following cities: Niagara Falls, Atlanta, Orlando, Jacksonville, Chattanooga, Nashville, New York City, Long Island, Youngstown, Cleveland, Detroit, Battle Creek, Wilmington, Tulsa, Fort Worth and Wichita. It was at this time that Stryper reunited and Blissed found its perfect line-up that stands to this day; David Pearson (Vocals/Guitar) Jeff Miller (Guitar/vocals) Nathan Kojak (Drums/Vocals) Russ Wood (Bass/Vocals)In 2006 Blissed released its second full length release titled CORROSIVE (KR Records). Mastered at Sterling Sound by the same engineer that worked on Green Day's American Idiot, Slipknot and Stryper's reunion CD Reborn. With this new release came a full radio servicing program, music videos shot in High Definition Wide Screen for 3 songs on the cd, and a 14 month touring schedule finding the band performing coast to coast in North America and on the festival circuit. After great sets at Lakeshore Music festival, Joshua Music Festival, Cornerstone and Cornerstone California Blissed was nominated for Hard Music Record of the Year (Corrosive cGMA nomination) and Hard Music Song of the Years (Superhero cGMA nomination)In 2007 Blissed began recording the next release titled The End Of The World(Kr Records 2008), it was pre-released June 30th to support the 3 performances that Blissed did at Cornerstone 2008. The band is currently preparing to tour for The End OF The World and release the first radio single and music video from this recording called Justice(http://www.holymetalrob.com/)

I still play it from time to time and everytime I hear the music it is just as original as it was the first time I heard it. "You know, God loves Bass Guitar" and from what I have read, Ez Gomer is still proclaiming his faith now like he did then. To bad it is out of print cause if you missed it, you missed a great album.Originally this album was supposed to be labelled as a solo project by lead member of Jet Circus, Ez Gomer. In the end it keeps the name of Jet Circus, which is probably a good move since it is a much more recognisable name. After all the band caused a stir in the early '90s, with their debut album 'Step On It', and were among the first bands to combine metal and rap. Nonetheless this is a solo project for Ez (he did the production too!), but with a long list of contributors helping him out. Included amongst them are Mikkey Dee (Motorhead), Stefan Elmgren (Hammerfall), Tommy Denander (Radioactive) as well as contributions from Jet Circus members Terry Haw and Michael UlvsgÀrd. A solid and heavy album that is full of attitude, this features crunchy guitars and gritty vocals and should still please old fans of the Jet Circus but will also appeal to people not familiar with the pioneering group. Another great aspect of this album is the positivity it breeds within the listener; the songs are wonderfully cheerful and are destined to raise your spirits, if not a broad grin across your face! This ranges from the wonderful opening track, with the second and fourth also of great quality, through to the more reflective "The Way You Bless Me". It's also worth mentioning that the sleeve boasts some great artwork and photography.Back in the 80’s when Sven "Ez" Gomer (formerly with Leviticus) had a premonition of stardom; he left the band to make his trek to the promised land. His first step was starting Jet Circus, a Christian rock band that would try and hold its own. Their debut release “Step on it” received poor reviews, and Gomer disappeared from the face of the earth. Now, many years later, Ez shows his face once more. This time around, he recruited some highly touted musicians in his endeavor to give it another shot in 2005 with “Look At Death Now.” To tell you the truth, I had never heard of the man until we received the new Liberty N’ Justice “Soundtrack of a Soul” in 2006. This was a compilation project of Christian rockers donating one track each to this amazing release. Ez sung on “King of Hollywood,” which was the reason why I contacted him. The song was one of the best tracks on that release, and I thought this guy had killer vocals. Now, getting to the Jet Circus, which really is a solo project by Ez with nine tracks put out by Hypersonic records. I am not going to sit here and tell you the man has gone from dust to diamonds, but “Look At Death Now” is a very good step in the right direction for Gomer. His vocals are in the vein of Dennis De Young but he adds higher pitched screams. “Man Rules” is one of those tracks where you will understand that Ez is exciting in his approach as a vocalist and could make an impact in time with his great range. At times, Ez can give you that deep hard vibrato and still reach those high notes. The one thing that will keep success out of reach for Ez is the songwriting. The songs do not have those catchy lyrics or hooks that will bring stardom, but if he takes his music to the theater genre, he could be a great storyteller and composer that will bring him success. After huge success with their Sony album "Step On It" in the 90's, and 3 singles in top positions on the American CCM chart, Jet Circus are back with a new heavy rock masterpiece featuring fat, crunchy guitars, monster grooves, and crazy leads. On the Guest list helping out you'll find Mikkey Dee (Motorhead) and Stefan Elmgren (Hammerfall)So Bass guitarist extraordinaire Ez Gomer got his start in the late-eighties when he joined the Swedish melodic metal band Leviticus in time to perform on its third and finest release Setting Fire To The Earth. During his tenure in Leviticus, Ez struck up a friendship with the bands lead vocalist Terry H., a partnership which in time led to the creation of an energetic new group called Jet Circus. After leaving Leviticus, the two wanted to do something fresh and different and, as a result, came up with the creative "hybrid-form" of funky groove-laden hard rock found on Jet Circus' 1991 debut Step On It. Following a tour of the US that same year, Ez and Terry H. began writing and recording the material that would make up Jet Circus' sophomore effort No Mercy For The Living Dead, but with no label support to speak of the project went unfinished. Jet Circus, for all practical purposes, was placed on hold until 2002 when Ez began thinking of recording a solo album in addition to finishing No Mercy... The good news is that Ez's solo project turned into a new Jet Circus album entitled Look At Death Now; on the other hand, with Terry H. not participating on it, Ez elected to take on lead vocal duties in addition to bringing in a new lead guitarist in Sayit. After a crunchy riff backed by a punchy bass line drives "One Dime Scape Goat" through its first and second verse in up-tempo fashion, it arrives at a groove flavored chorus reinforced by a touch of vocal harmonies. Sayit comes out on top with over thirty seconds of scorching lead guitar work. "One Dime Scape Goat" talks about the fallen state of man and his sinful nature:Introduced to a drum solo, "Man Rules" energetically advances to an upfront mix of choppy rhythm guitar before reaching a catchy chorus that in no time will have you singing along. Sayit again hits the nail on the head with a nice extended blues flavored solo. The message to "Man Rules" ties into that of "One Dime Scape Goat": "Godless Happiness" embarks to several seconds of bluesy riffing before settling down to an even guitar driven mid-tempo pace for its verse portions. Gaining further momentum, the song transitions to an energy-laden chorus underlined by vocal harmonies. I like how the song slows as Ez's bass moves to the front of the mix as he expounds upon the songs theme of "godless happiness": The albums title track is another good fast paced hard rocker. Kicking in to a driving guitar riff, "Look At Death Now" quickly moves forward until it culminates for a high octane chorus delivered at an upbeat tempo. Sayit's lead guitar is carried over a massive wall of rhythm guitar. "Look At Death Now" focuses on the finished work of Christ on the cross."Lizzard Love" commences at a laid back mid-tempo pace before the rhythm guitar and bass move to the front of the mix, the two steadily leading the way to a fleeting background vocal driven chorus. Denander joins Sayit on lead guitar and helps to decorate the song with several seconds of bluesy lead guitar work. Ez's bass lines are really grooving on this track. The piano slowly carrying the ballad "The Way That You Bless Me" through its verse portions underscores the commercial flavored chorus that follows.
