Wow! Nailed nailed this cd. classic guitar solos to heavy grunge riffs. This cd is one of those cd's that the more you listen to it the better it gets,Okay. okay... Every so often a new band come along and rip you apart with gut-wrenching music, incisive lyrics and a passion for all that is good and decent. Unfortunately, Nailed isn't one of those bands. The music isn't bad and no doubt if you like Pearl Jam or Live it's excellent. But it's just not...well, it just doesn't stand out. This isn't helped by the fact that some of the lyrics are surely inspired by early Whitecross, where the hedonistic/nominal Christian lifestyle is (rightfully) condemned, but expresses itself in terms of cars crashes and the like. However, at least two of the tracks are nearly excellent ("Don't Blame Me" and "Gravy") with some interesting vocals and none of the songs are awful, there's just nothing much to place this CD higher than the level of background music(http://www.holymetalrob.com/)
